In the process of exploring the making of artworks, Chen Chan-Xuan focused on emotional expressions, formal language and conceptual things which all reflect the change of one’s perspective on life. Like the disclosure of personal consciousness and emotional messages from the essence of things and understanding the diversity of the world through knowledge. From 2015, “Interrogation of simplified comprehension for diversity and complexity of world” was her goal on creating artworks, and started her series of works “ forms”. Opening up the discussion on the relationship between rationality and sensibility, subjective and objective, and the meaning of contemporary information. Chan-Xuan makes art with daily life objects which reflects her interest in daily life and how people can make a difference when finding art in unexpected objects you see everyday.
